Study into impacts of formation sands on foam performance during drainage gas production—Take Qinghai Oilfield’s Sebei Gasfield for example

Foam drainage gas production is a technology for low-pressure well in domestic and abroad industries. In Qinghai Oilfield’s Sebei Gasfield, sand existence often occurs during production. order to reveal the impacts of formation sands on production, lab test was conducted make study foam performances different agents case existence. A laboratory employed under varies scenes existence, recovery. this study, four agents, i.e., OP-10, Sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate, Hexadecyl Trimethyl Ammonium Bromide (CTAB), Lauramidopropyl Hydroxy Sulfobetaine, were selected compare with field compound agent QH-X1. Following patterns can be revealed by macroscopic microscopic experimental results: formed an ionic-type more stable when hydrophilic particles are smaller (which means they have larger specific surface areas adsorption energy levels between bubbles higher); while non-ionic OP-10 has short period because its polarity weaker than that adsorbability weak; conditions, types average bubble area, wall thickness, Plateau Boundary markedly different, appear decreasing tendency anionic trend obvious coarser. The QH-X1 shows parameters generally lower as smaller, but changing trends after involved. Particles constitute film at gas-liquid interface laminar structure within each interbubble thin liquid film, thus improving coalescence unloading stability. So, inflow increases stiffness, half-life period, comprehensive rate QH-X1-induced foam.
